Apache Junction Library

The Apache Junction Library serves the residents of Apache Junction with the ability to perform research, checking out reading materials and enjoy a variety of different library services. The library is open from 9am to 5pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and is open from 9am to 8pm on Tuesday and Thursday. The Apache Junction Library is open from 9am to 5pm on Saturday.

The library offers two study rooms where students can access the ability to study quietly. There are also computers available to library patrons for online research. Young library patrons can take advantage of many different programs that are designed for children birth through the 6th grade. All children’s programs are free. Every Thursday from 9:30 to 9:50 am is Babytime at Apache Junction Library and is available to children from birth to 24 months.

Mother Goose Storytime is held on Thursdays from 10:00 am to 10:30 am for children ages two and three. Preschool Storytime is held on Thursdays from 10:45 to 11:30 am for children age three to six. This program includes an art project as well as music, fingerplays, movement and stories.

Play & Learn is a parent/child workshop that is held for children ages one to three on special dates. This program is an excellent opportunity for parents and children to interact as well as meet others within the community.

Once every month the Teen Advisory Board also meets regarding special programs for teens.

Each summer the Apache Junction Library offers a summer reading program for children from birth to age 18. The program also offers the ability to earn incentive prizes.

The Apache Junction Friends of the Library Association also hosts a book shop within the library, offering books for sale as a way to earn funds for special library programs.
