Goldfield was once a real town and back at the end of the 19th century, it boasted a boarding house, no less than three saloons, a blacksmith shop, meat market, general store, school house and brewery. At one time it seemed as though Goldfield would actually outgrow Mesa, but then the gold vein faulted and the town eventually became a ghost town.
Today you can have the pleasure of visiting Goldfield and stepping back in time. Enjoy an old west gun fight, shop at the many stores or sit down for a real old-fashioned western meal.
