If you’re from the Midwest, and you
drink beer, you’ve probably heard
of Bell’s and most likely enjoyed
drinking it.
In a bold move, Bell’s
beer has reached us from Michigan
and landed in the parched region of
Arizona.
Bell’s is currently enjoying
a hugely successful placement into
beer-friendly bars all over Phoenix via
World Class Beverages.
You’ll be seeing
a lot more of Bell’s and if you have
never heard of them, please give it a
try. People who know beer rate Bell’s
very high, in fact a 2008 ranking by
ratebeer.com placed Bell’s in the #4
ranking of their top 100. Not a bad
showing considering there were over
8,000 breweries considered.
Bell’s Brewery, Inc., is the kind of success
story beer brewers tell around
the campfire.
Founded by Larry Bell
as a home-brewing supply shop in
1983, Bell’s sold its first beer in 1985.
Originally brewing in a 15-gallon
soup kettle, the company has grown
remarkably from its production of 135
barrels (1 barrel = 31 gal.) in 1986 to
over 90,000 barrels in 2007. Total
brewing capacity now stands at
140,000 barrels and the brewery currently
sells its beer across a fifteen state
area, through a network of over
fifty quality wholesalers.
Over twenty
years of brewing, Bell’s Brewery (the
oldest craft brewer east of Boulder),
has built a nationwide reputation as
a creative and talented brewery, playing
a significant role in changing the
beerscape of the nation.
